Holbein has crafted a unique and versatile product perfect for both decorative and fine artists. It can be used for traditional underpainting on various surfaces, including paper, fabric, numerous canvases, wood, stone, and primed metal. It also acts as an exceptionally opaque, ultra-matte acrylic paint medium and excels as an acrylic paint.

Holbein Coloured Gesso is highly pigmented with a smooth texture. It can be mixed with any acrylic paint or medium, drying to a matte finish. It can be overpainted with water-based or oil-based colours, or pastels. It is available in several beautiful colours.

Based on aqueous acrylic dispersion, it is designed to form a volumetric (relief) coating on any surface. It is applied with a brush or palette knife. After drying, forms a durable elastic, water-indelible relief. The dried surface can be painted with acrylic, tempera, gouache, oil paints. In case of contact with skin, wash off with warm water and soap. Wash brushes and tools immediately after work with water. Store in tightly closed containers at a temperature of 5 to 35°C.

Medium for delution acrylic paints ROSA Gallery can be used to dilute acrylic paints as well as improve adhesion between the surface and the paint layer. Made on the basis of the high quality acrylic dispersion, ROSA Gallery Medium doesn’t yellow or change the colour over time. Once dry it becomes transparent and gives paints a light sheen. ROSA Gallery Medium increases the elasticity and resistance of the paint layer and has no influence on the drying time. Stir before the use. Mix with water. Rinse brushes and instruments after work. The ROSA Gallery Medium is intended for dilution acrylic paints, as well as increasing the adhesion level between the base for painting and a colour layer.

ROSA Odourless Solvent is a dearomatized solvent for art works: oil paints dilution, viscosity reduction as well as cleaning brushes, palettes and canvases.

Being dearomatized, the solvent is suitable for indoor works and can be used by people sensitive to fragrances. It should be remembered that as fragrance-free solvent has effluvia, artists’ workrooms, studios, study classes require periodic airing or special ventilation systems to be installed. White spirit-based solvents evaporate fast in the open air minimising drying time of the paints.
