Batik is excellent for crafts and patchwork but has been used for centuries in Asia for garment making. This light weight cotton, similar to cotton lawn is perfect for shirts, dresses or as a pop of colour as lining. Our batik collection is produced in a unique cottage industry by specialist craftsmen who pass their skills from generation to generation. Due to the distinctive colours and designs, there may be some loose dye on the surface of the fabric and some irregularities will occur as an inevitable feature of the hand printing process. Fibre: 100% Cotton Width: 60" / 150cm
