A cross body bag is a project for the beginner bag maker. These bags are really usful and easy to make. Moke one for yourself or a gift for a friend. Express your own personal style by choosing your own fabrics, webbing and zip for a unique everyday bag.

During the course participants will learn :
- Understand what fabrics make good bags
- Cut fabric using a pattern
- use a zipper foot
- insert a zip
- make an adjustable strap.
- insert lining
Date: Saturday 8th February
Time: 10:30am – 4:30pm (incl. 1 hr lunch break)
Duration: 5hrs
Location: Crafty Studio, 2a Prospect Ave, Harts Corner, Glasnevin Dublin 9.
Each student will receive an printed copy of the pattern to use during class and all fabric, zip and notions needed to make your bag.
Alternatively fabric and notions may be bought before the class starts with a 10% discount.
In a bid to be more sustainable and to keep cost down we ask all students to bring your own keep cup/mug and take away any non recyclable waste.
Please bring a fabric scissors and pins if you have them. Sewing machines are available to use but must be requested in advance by selecting from the drop down menu when booking..
