Overlocker Workshop – Saturday 19th September

Master sewing with your Overlocker in this one day workshop and make a T-shirt with your new skills.

Learn how to thread your overlocker and what settings to use for different fabrics. We will cover the different stitches and seam finishes you can achieve plus make a garment on your overlocker. You will need to bring your own overlocker, overlocker manual and tools (i.e scissors, pins, overlocker tool kit containing tweezers and screwdrivers, etc). If you can’t bring your overlocker I have a machine you can use, however it is best to learn on the overlocker you will be using at home. Supplies: You will also need to bring your pre-washed jersey fabric. If you need help choosing a fabric or pattern please ask in store and we will guide you. We will provide students with a t shirt pattern. If you have a pattern you would prefer to make please bring it along. A notebook is also handy to have to keep notes and however you will receive worksheets to take home aswell. If you do not have an overlock and would like to borrow one there is a €10 rental fee for the workshop. Please select I need an overlocker in the options. Tea or coffee will be provided, we ask everyone to bring their own mug with a lid.
