Kids Sewing Camp – 12th – 14th August Beginners – 10:30 – 12:30

Suitable for beginners. Run over 3 mornings. Students will make a number of craft projects building on their new skills with each project. All patterns for the projects will be provided, see material list below. Classes are kept to small numbers of students to ensure 1 to 1 contact with the teacher.

This is the Junior group for students from age 8.

No sewing machine? Don’t worry we can supply a machine for you to use during the class.*

Some of the skills we will cover during the classes

• How to use a sewing machine
• how to cut fabric.
• pattern cutting
• hand sewing
• choosing fabric
• working with jersey

Material Needed:

• 5 fat quarters  or one bundle
• 1/m 5mm elastic
• spool of thread
• fabric scissors
• small scissors
• pins
• notebook and pen

Duration: 3 days
