Kids Sewing Class – Felt Decorations 13th December

Make your own felt tree decorations. Starting with one of our  felt kits you will learn how to sew and embellish your decorations.

Our textiles tutor Sandra Reynolds has has 28yrs experience as an artist and teacher and will guide you through each step. Sandra received a City and Guilds qualification in Textiles and Embroidery and has been exhibiting and selling her work throughout Ireland. She can be found here on her instagram account.

The course will run over 1 1/2hrs and is suited to young beginner sewists. We recommend age 8 as a minimum age.

All patterns, materials and fabric will be provided for the students use during class.

Location: Crafty Studio 2a Prospect Ave Glasnevin. Free on street parking is available on Sundays on Prospect Square.

• be able to sew and stuff tree ornaments

• know how to embelish your decoration with embroidery and beads
