Koh-i-Noor Gioconda White Coal Pencils – 3 pack

4.99

3 artist’s white coal wooden pencils. Hardnesses 2-soft, 3-medium, and 4-hard. Blister card.

  •  Perfectly blended to give, hard, smooth and very soft, smudgeable lines.
  • The pureness of the white is exceptional, and of a very high pigment to binder ratio.
  • The hardest grade is perfect for doing thin, highlights, on edges or curves where the tiniest if highlight is required.   Can be sharpened to a fine point to get a small edge or dot, such as in an eye iris.
  • The smoothest grade is perfect for blending to create a lighter edge over a small to broad area.  Excellent blend quality.
  • The mid grade is useful for semi-blending where you need to transition from white to another colour and graduates beautifully.

Description

Whether you are looking for quality art supplies for enthusiasts and professionals, creative children’s aids, office equipment, or interesting gifts for your loved ones, KOH-I-NOOR HARDTMUTH has been bringing you a wide range of proven products for four centuries in a row.

QUALITY SINCE 1790

The court princely architect Joseph Hardtmuth laid down the foundations of the company in 1790, from which his descendants, especially his son Carl and grandson Franz, have created one of the world’s largest companies in its field.

A number of significant innovations in the field of writing instruments comes from the KOH-I-NOOR HARDTMUTH factory. For example, the production of graphite and clay pencil lead, patented as early as 1802, the principle of machine-made pencils or division of graphite pencils into individual grades 8B-10H, according to the hardness of the lead, which were soon taken over by other manufacturers as a global standard.

KOH-I-NOOR HARDTMUTH also has several achievements. In 1900, the iconic yellow pencil 1500 won the prestigious award at Grand Prix in Paris and became the most famous pencil in the world.
