Painting for Beginners

27th September, 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th October 2024

This introductory course is perfect for absolute beginners eager to start oil painting.  Start by getting familiar with your painting materials and kit, and learn about umber sketching and mark-making.  Progress through monochromatic still life studies and learn about using warm and cool colours and limited palettes.  Along the way you’ll learn about landscape painting and portraiture.  No prior experience is needed.
