Bring along your current WIP(work in progress) or a new project and work on it with the expert guidance of our tutors.

Sewing machines are available to booked in advance, please select I need a machine. We have overlockers, irons cutting matts and lots of sewing tools for you to use during your workshop. If you forget anything or need to buy fabric you will receive a 10% discount on the day.

During the course participants will learn :

Understand what fabrics make good bags
Cut fabric using a pattern
use a zipper foot
insert a zip
make an adjustable strap.
insert lining

Please bring the pattern and instruction booklet(printed) with you.

We recommend you have a basic kit of dressmaking scissors, snips, thread, and pins. All these can be bought in Crafty Studio with 10% student discount including fabric.

Please note this is an adult only class.

In a bid to be more sustainable and to keep cost down we ask all students to bring your own keep cup/mug and take away any non recyclable waste.
