Our textiles tutor Sandra Reynolds has has 28yrs experience as an artist and teacher and will guide you through each step. Sandra received a City and Guilds qualification in Textiles and Embroidery and has been exhibiting and selling her work throughout Ireland. She can be found here on her instagram account.
Suitable for beginners with a few projects under their belts to more intermediate sewists. This course would also be useful to students attend third level textile and art education. Teaching will be tailored to participant’s individual needs.
All materials will be provided.
Project: Wool felt Autumnal Landscape, or image of your choosing

Content:
During the course participants will :
- know what materials are needed for needle felting
- understand how how to pair use the tools correctly and safely
- Understand the basic concepts of colour theory.
- learn how to create a balanced design.
- learn how to combine wool to make felt
- know how to finish a felt piece
- learn how to back and mount a felt piece
Dates: Saturday 27th April
Time: 2:30 – 5pm
Duration: 2 1/2
Location: Crafty Studio, 2a Prospect Ave, Harts Corner, Glasnevin Dublin 9.
